Maison Ernest : Isabelle Bordji dans Marie-Claire Maison décembre 2015

Isabelle Bordji dans Marie-Claire Maison décembre 2015

To revive Ernest, one of the oldest shoemakers of Paris (since 1904), as cult and confidential for high heels, it could require a magic wand. Isabelle Bordji, former student of Studio Berçot, is not a magician, but a real Indonesian princess, from a Javanese dynasty. Her Highness was the Art Director of the seamed stockings brand Cervin when she acquired in 2012 the specialist of high heels with the ambition to make it a real brand, renamed as Maison Ernest. The historic, redesigned shop, reopened last September with bigger and more accessible collections.
